Nancy is a dedicated health and safety professional with over 30 years experience in occupational health and safety, risk management, and emergency management. Nancy is a trusted advisor and advocate and has held progressively more senior management roles first with the University of Ottawa, and now with Carleton University. She continues to lead the Environmental Health and Safety Office for Carleton, achieving the lowest injury rates of all the Ontario Universities. Nancy holds an MBA in leadership, as well as a Bachelors degree in microbiology. She also holds the CRM (Certificate in Risk Management) and CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional).
