Patti Zebchuck

Marketing Specialist

Patti Zebchuck is an accomplished marketing professional with more than 25 years of experience leading marketing strategy, brand development, and fan engagement initiatives across the sports, entertainment, and cultural sectors.

She spent 15 years with the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club from the franchise’s inception, playing a key role in building the team’s brand and shaping the fan experience both in-game and in the community. Patti developed and executed innovative sponsorship activations and special events and worked closely with the leadership team to design high-profile marketing campaigns, including season-opening and playoff initiatives.

Her event marketing expertise extended to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015, where she managed local marketing programs, sponsor activations, and FIFA’s brand protection program. She also collaborated on media events, regional advertising, and community engagement strategies that contributed to $28.6 million in economic benefits for the city of Ottawa. 

Throughout her career, Patti has held senior marketing leadership roles with the National Arts Centre Orchestra and Canopy Growth Corporation, with a focus on consumer marketing, communications, customer research, and driving growth and retention. 

A graduate of Carleton University with a Bachelor of Mass Communication, Patti brings her deep expertise in sport marketing, sponsorship, and fan engagement to the classroom. She is passionate about sharing practical insights with aspiring sport business professionals and equipping them with the tools to build impactful, audience-driven strategies in today’s evolving sports landscape.
