This session focuses on helping participants redefine their professional identity as they transition roles or sectors. Through mindset shifts and confidence rebuilding, participants learn how to reframe their value, translate internal government language into market-ready skills, and use storytelling to communicate impact. Interactive exercises guide them through deconstructing past projects, mapping old identities to new career goals, and rebuilding a compelling professional narrative. The workshop includes live coaching and small-group practices to strengthen tone, confidence, and personal brand clarity.
Module 2: Job Search Strategy and Current Market
This workshop provides a practical understanding of today’s job market and how AI is shaping the hiring process. Participants learn how to develop ATS-optimized resumes, identify ideal organizations, and apply strategically with effective follow-up techniques. The session also covers interview preparation using the STAR method, offer negotiation, and understanding differences in benefits across sectors. Hands-on exercises include resume reviews, outreach message writing, and guided interview preparation.
Module 3: How to Network Effectively
Designed to make networking more intentional and less intimidating, this session helps participants build a strong personal brand and leverage alumni networks, informational interviews, and industry events. Participants learn LinkedIn best practices and strategies for forming genuine professional connections. Through role-playing, profile optimization, and community mapping exercises, they identify key industry connectors and leave with a clear 30-day networking action plan.
Module 4: Private Sector Business Thinking
This workshop introduces participants to private-sector business fundamentals, including revenue models, customer-centric decision making, and the balance between speed and process. It also addresses cultural shifts from public to private sectors, expectations around self-advocacy, and how to effectively manage up. Participants explore the use of AI in the workplace and practice real-world scenarios through role-play. The session concludes with a visibility strategy lab focused on demonstrating value, communicating wins, and managing professional perception.
