Research Interests: Digital signal processing for extraction, enhancement, tracking, and understanding of signals in a human’s environment including separation of speech, audio, or biological signals from noisy environments and joint audio-visual tracking of people in a scene. Also, issues in end-user experience in audio/image/video communication, robust transmission to optimize end-user experience, and signal quality assessment.
