2024 Carleton University Dragon Boat Team

The Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival returns June 21-23, 2024! Participants will have the opportunity to compete at all skill levels, from rookies to world champions, on the waters of Mooney’s Bay for a weekend of racing and fun with teammates!

The multi-day festival offers spectators free admission for marquee concerts, a variety of artisans, exhibitors, delicious culinary treats, beach-side bar, children’s area and non-stop racing in community, corporate and sport divisions. Teams will compete in two 500m races in various Challenge Cup divisions on Saturday, June 22. Top teams will advance to Sunday, June 23 for a 100m, 200m and 500m Grand Final.

The festival is looking forward to welcoming new and returning teams to the Nation’s Capital!
