The Innovation Hub looks forward to hosting Bruce Linton for a Lunch and Learn event on July 18, 2023. Bruce Linton is a founder and former CEO of multiple companies, most notably, Canopy Growth Corporation (formerly Tweed). He is an investor with a passion for entrepreneurship and students will have an exciting opportunity to listen to Bruce share his valuable insights. - Founder and former CEO and Chairman of Canopy Growth Corporation – the first publicly traded cannabis company in North America, it grew into a company valued at around $18-billion
- Currently holds positions on the Board of Creso Pharma – a team offering innovative products to improve the life of animals and humans through hemp-based food, feed supplements, and topical products
- Co-Chairman and former CEO of the Martello Technologies Group Inc. – the leader in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams monitoring and resolving problems to optimize performance, headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario
- Chairman of the Advisory Board for Red Light Holland Corp. – provides recreational grade Truffles to the current legal adult use market in the Netherlands, and their portfolio company Happy Caps has mushroom home grow kits (Lion’s Mane, Shiitake, & Oyster mushrooms) are in over 100 retail locations in Canada
