Japman Bajaj is a modern, innovative, and experienced corporate and entrepreneurial executive, passionate about 21st-century solutions to age-old problems. He has led and participated in systemic transformation throughout his young career in education, telecommunications, healthcare, and digital technologies. A lifelong learner and polymath, Japman is passionate about learning and applying new skills, technologies, and frameworks to create more resilient, innovative, and valuable products, organizations, and systems. He serves on the Board of the Trans Canada Trail, the longest recreational
trail network in the world.
Currently, Japman serves as Executive Vice President of Vametric Corporation and is responsible for the overall growth and operationalization of the business. This includes the creation of channel strategies, political and government strategies, customer segmentation strategies, and product and IP strategies for the corporation, Japman has quickly become a thought leader in the skills development and skills assessment landscape. Japman believes in a more equitable, more accessible, and higher quality of education and skills development, something sorely lacking in all aspects of society and business. Vametric solves for this through its patented skills assessment platform which challenges
institutions to think outside the tick-in-the-box, and to focus on actual ability as opposed to one’s ability to pass written tests. In a world inundated with social media and video generation applications, Vametric is transforming the learner experience, the institutional learning model, and the talent funnel for organizations across North America.
Japman is a successful entrepreneur, and most recently sold his last company in 2016. Since then, he led government relations and affairs for a Fortune 500 Telecommunications company, driving strategic business development and partnership strategies with municipal, regional, and federal governments. He was then the head of a $200MM cloud platform, cloud services, and managed services business, driving product, and portfolio innovation, revenue growth, and thought leadership across North America while supporting an indirect team of nearly 700 resources across 8 cities.
