Jack is a fifth-year undergraduate Commerce student, with concentrations in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management at Carleton University. He became frustrated by finding his fridge and pantry full of food that had expired unknowingly, resulting in food waste harming both the environment and a student’s tight budget. Jack has set out to create a digital service for students looking to track the food in their homes, cutting down on waste by estimating dates of expiry, sending reminders, and providing analytical insights into user food usage.
