Dr. Kama Szereszewski is the biotechnology professional program chair and faculty member at Carleton University managing the Master of Biotechnology. She has over 5 years of experience in the biotech startup industry and over 18 years of experience in education, managing teams and projects, and professional development.
Kama has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Carleton University, has been named a Scientific Teaching Fellow from the Mobile Institute of Scientific Teaching, and has trained hundreds of individuals every year for the last 14 years to certify in Advanced Medical First Aid Training for the Canadian Ski Patrol as an Instructor Trainer.
As a mentor in the Innovation Hub, Kama will be the lead contact for Carleton student founders in the Faculty of Science working on biotechnology startups, providing a platform for biotechnology entrepreneurship education, experiential learning, innovation and new venture creation activities for scientists in the Carleton Student and Ottawa Community.
