Max is a Kanata North-based civic entrepreneur and digital architect. As a third-year standing student in Carleton University’s Bachelor of Media Production and Design program, his research focuses on digital storytelling and emerging technologies.
At the Innovation Hub, Max is the program coordinator for Hatch. Here, he works to mentor and accelerate early-stage student business development. His ongoing completion of a minor in Entrepreneurship and experience launching his own startup have taught him a variety of startup methodologies and practices.
Max is also co-founder and CEO of Sphere Technologies, a social enterprise dedicated to humane technology design. Its foundational platform, Sphere, is a cooperatively-owned, blockchain-based social network that seeks to return commercial rights back to individuals and communities. In his career, Max aspires to shine light on the unique affordances of Web3 technologies and lead their intentional design and implementation.
