Yafet is a third-year undergraduate Economics student with a concentration in Computational Analysis. He is the co-founder and current Vice President Finance of the Eritrean and Ethiopian Student Association (EESA) was a member of Carleton’s Residence Peer Conduct Board, and is currently serving a one year term as an elected student representative on the Carleton University Board of Governors
He is an innovative problem solver and aspires to work on Wall Street or launch a startup in the future. At a young age, he managed to run a few businesses that helped him gain practical skill sets in the art of negotiation, marketing, and most importantly self-awareness. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Yafet enjoys indulging in philosophical conversations and taking on new adventures.
