On campus office hours with patent office IP advisors
Industry and Partnership Services (IPS) is pleased to announce on-campus office hours with Intellectual Property Advisors (Caroline Lefebvre and Nicolas Deziel from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), on Friday April 14 in the ARISE Building, suite 4200.
Some topics you may wish to discuss include
- What can be protected by patents, trademarks, registered copyright and what are the related processes and government fees?
- Ensuring novelty of an invention or innovation
- Developing an Intellectual Property strategy
- CIPO resources
CIPO Advisors can not provide any legal advice (i.e. patentability of an invention, etc)
