Noah Bennell is a member of the Northwest Territories Métis Nation. He currently works as a Peer Mentor with the Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement at Carleton University, which involves supporting students at the Urban Aboriginal Alternate High School in Ottawa. He is a second-year BSc. student studying Neuroscience and Mental Health. His research explores community-police relations and police responses to mental health calls. Additionally, Noah is interested in Indigenous mental health and well-being, and access to healthcare services in remote Indigenous communities.
