Why did you want to become a mentor?
I was a mentee myself in my 1st year and really benefitted from the program, so I’ve been a mentor the past two years in hopes of giving the experience I had to incoming 1st years.
What is one thing you wished you knew in your first year?
Profs are not as scary as they seem! Most of them genuinely want you to learn and are more than happy to answer questions and help you out when needed.

Every school I have gone to has constructed a new building the year after I left.
