Why I’m a mentor:
I am a mentor because I wanted to help students transition to Carleton and give back to the program as I was a mentee. The program really helped me as I lived far away from home, thus allowing me to connect with a student with a similar experience
Something I wished I knew in my first year…
What I wish I knew as a new Carleton student is that the first year fly’s by so fast, so make sure to enjoy it and don’t be afraid to take on challenges and new opportunities head on & with a positive attitude, its the best way to grow!
