Why Did You Want to Become a Mentor?
Although I am originally Canadian, I did grow up abroad and therefore know how challenging being away from home can be. I was also a transfer student and was quite apprehensive of joining Carleton going into my second year. However, the Carleton community welcomed me with open arms and the residence community made the transition away from home immensely easier; I hope to do the same for incoming students and support them in their new exciting journey away from home.
