Going into my second year with a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a concentration in Canadian politics and a minor in news and media.
Why did you want to become a mentor?
I wanted to become a mentor because I initially had a rough start to my first year, and I would like to take what I learned from my experiences during this difficult time and help others who are struggling in similar situations. I also think this will be a great experience for me.
What is one thing you wished you knew in your first year?
One thing I wish I knew in my first year at Carleton would be to not be so hard on myself. Good things take time, and joining a new environment like residence isn’t easy for most people, but things will fall into place if you just give it some time.
