Carleton Professors’ Podcast Minding the Brain to be Featured on CBC Radio One’s Podcast Playlist

Minding the Brain, the popular podcast by Carleton University professors Kim Hellemans, chair of the Department of Neuroscience, and Jim Davies, of the Institute of Cognitive Science (ICS) and the School of Computer Science, will be featured on the CBC Radio One program Podcast Playlist. The radio show will feature the Minding the Brain episode Imagining the Future on Oct. 20, 2018.

The Minding the Brain podcast explores the science behind the human mind. Each month, Davies and Hellemans discuss a diverse range of topics – from stress and social networks, to marijuana and concussions.

The engaging program uses a conversational tone and guest interviews to translate the complex science of our brains for a wide audience.

Podcast Playlist is a curated weekly radio show that features the best of podcasting in Canada. Podcast Playlist airs on CBC Radio One on Saturday at 2 p.m.
