Dehejia’s fields of research include international trade, international economic development and international macroeconomics. His areas of expertise include Indian economic and political affairs, globalization and political economy of reform. Dehejia has published in numerous academic journals and is also a frequent media commentator.


Chinnaiah Jangam

Jangam has expertise in the history of the British Empire and modern south Asia. His primary research focus is on the intellectual history of Dalits, especially their engagement with colonialism, nationalism, and Christianity. Areas related to his expertise include imperialism and its legacies; decolonization, nationalism and the politics of identity; caste and untouchability; Ambedkar, Gandhi and modernism; cultural history of the Indian diaspora; and the history of the Indian Ocean world.
