Frances Abele

Abele has worked with Indigenous people across Canada and parts of the circumpolar Arctic for most of her career. Her research has focused on northern economic and political development, Indigenous self-government, policy and programs important to Indigenous people living in cities, policy and program evaluation, qualitative research and citizen engagement.
Abele is a former director of the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton. She has published research reports with the National Centre for First Nations Governance, Canadian Policy Research Networks, the Institute for Research on Public Policy, the Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation, the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives and the Institute of Public Administration of Canada.
Ian Lee

Lee is available to discuss the end of COVID-19 income supports, economic growth initiatives, response to Buy American policies, new trade initiatives and proposals to develop new sources of alternative energy, such as hydrogen and nuclear power.
Lee has appeared multiple times before the House of Commons and Senate, as well as on finance, banking, industry and trade committees. He attended pre-budget consultations with the Minister of Finance in 2009 and 2011. His work has appeared in the annual publication How Ottawa Spends concerning Canada’s retirement system, the Parliamentary Budget Officer, deficits, corporate income reform and the Liberal downsizing of 1995-97 and the Conservative government downsizing of 2010-15.
