Donald Trump is meeting with Putin in Alaska on August 15 to discuss a ceasefire in Ukraine, and  Carleton University experts are available to comment on the meeting and related subjects.

Stephen Saideman

Saideman is available to discuss Trump’s impact on foreign affairs and defence policy, including NATO. His research interests focus on the causes and consequences of intervention in intra-state conflicts. His current research deals with the role of legislatures in democratic civil-military relations. He teaches courses on contemporary international security, civil-military relations, and United States foreign and defence policy.
