Brouard is available to discuss the business dimensions, philanthropy, and final financial aspects of the World Cup, along with the soccer industry in general.

He has an extremely robust and diverse research program that, interestingly, as an accounting professor and taxation expert, has Brouard researching well beyond the accounting world. His research taps into an eclectic mix of topics, including research in the governance of charities and non-profits; strategic intelligence of small to mid-size enterprises; and the recruitment and life trajectories of accountants.

Aaron Ettinger

Ettinger is currently working on an ongoing research project on sports and politics. He specializes in international relations and United States foreign policy. His current research focuses on continuity and change in U.S. foreign policy since 2001 and its implications for world order. His recently published work covers a range of issues, including U.S. and Canadian foreign policy, the private military industry and international relations.

Richard Nimijean

Nimijean is available to discuss issues of national identity, patriotism, and Canada-United States relations and how they connect in relation to the World Cup.

Nimijean’s research interests focus on national identity and the branding of Canada, the relationship between Canada’s role as a global actor and the Canadian identity, and the politics of the brand state. His current research and writing projects include cross-border perspectives on Canada–U.S. relations and global issues from a Canadian perspective.
