Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand to speak at Carleton University’s NPSIA 60th anniversary celebration

The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will join Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) on Friday, September 18, to mark the school’s 60th anniversary.

For six decades, NPSIA has been at the forefront of international affairs education and research in Canada, preparing generations of students for careers in diplomacy, government, international organizations, academia and the private sector.

Minister Anand will deliver a special address followed by a Q&A with NPSIA Director Dr. Yiagadeesen Samy. The event will bring together over 250 NPSIA students, alumni, faculty and partners from across Canada’s international affairs community.

Carleton alumnus and Member of Parliament Yasir Naqvi will provide closing remarks.
