Required qualificationsThe successful candidate will be expected to design, teach, evaluate and incorporate best practices on pharmacology and medication management including registered nurse (RN) prescribing and supervise/mentor students in the entry to practice competencies as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). 

Develop and deliver course content for pharmacology and medication management, adhering to the competency frameworks for entry to practice and RN prescribing from the College of Nurses of Ontario.  

Incorporate best practices including advising to simulation and clinical instructors for application of the theory taught in this course.  

Mentor and support students.  

Act as a departmental advisor for continued best practice in alignment with RN Prescribing including program iteration.  

Professional experience as a Registered Nurse and/or Pharmacist with a license in good standing with the respective regulatory body. RN Prescriber, and/or advanced certification such as a Nurse Practitioner preferred. 

Masters degree preferred.

Preference given to applicants with experience with online teaching platforms
