Students beginning their studies at Carleton this fall may consider enrolling in Academic Prep: How to Be a University Student. This course teaches evidence-based study skills and habits for success! Topics include student mental health, notetaking, time management and problem solving. This week-long, in-person course blends lectures and readings with hands-on workshops where students discuss and practice their new skills. It also includes optional group and individual follow-up sessions throughout the school year.

The Academic Prep course will take place from Monday, August 14 to Friday, August 18, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. The course has a fee of $250.
