In order to maintain the confidentiality of your personal and academic information, the Registrar’s Office follows certain procedures before disclosing confidential information. 

The Registrar’s Office takes measures to ensure that we only disclose personal and academic information to the student to whom it refers. For example, confidential information will only be discussed in email format using your Carleton email account. The Registrar’s Office will not respond to emails sent from an off-campus account (e.g. Hotmail, Gmail, Rogers) with any information specific to your student record. 

There may be occasions where you choose to authorize the release of personal or academic information or documents to a third party. On these occasions, a Third Party Release of Information must be completed ahead of the interaction through your Carleton360 account.
