Carleton has supports for those affected by the severe weather in Ottawa and the confirmed tornado in Barrhaven on Thursday, July 13, 2023.

The storm has not affected university operations. Campus is open and operating as usual.

Athletics facilities are open until 10:00 p.m. today (Friday, July 14, 2023) with showers and power to charge electronic devices.

If you have been affected by the storm, please reach out to your course instructor to discuss possible accommodations. Affected students can reach out to vpstudents@carleton for additional support.

These circumstances can be challenging for our community to navigate. If you could benefit from some support, the Mental Health and Wellness website has free and confidential resources. If you’re not sure where to start, the Wellness Services Navigator will curate a list of resources on-campus and in the community to support you.
