Angela Winder
Angela is PFM’s Assistant Director of Operations and Responsible Investing. She is responsible for leading the Pension Fund Management office’s work on Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG), global tax, audit, and corporate/regulatory compliance. She has over 15 years of banking industry experience as a credit officer, bank manager, treasury officer, and internal auditor.
Angela is a proud Carleton University graduate holding a BA Political Science conc. International Relations. Angela has a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA)® designation issued by the CFI. She joined Carleton in 2006 and has worked in the Finance Office, Research Accounting, and Carleton International. She has been with PFM since 2013.
Angela has a number of specialized certificates including The Osgoode Certificate in Pension Law; and ESG, Climate Risk & The Law also from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University as well as numerous courses with the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) and CFA Institute. Her volunteer work includes being a member of the Pension Investment Association of Canada (PIAC) Investment Practices Committee – Tax Working Group; and the Investor Stewardship Committee; 25 years as a competitive soccer coach and she was the first-ever female Head Coach in the Gloucester Rangers Hockey Association history.
