As an emerging scholar working on a multifaceted doctoral research topic, I believe this program has the potential to help me develop a dynamic and holistic approach to my research. It is my expectation that this program will provide an opportunity for me to engage with scholars from Carleton University and industry players who have practical experience in my area of research. This will aid me make significant contributions to academic knowledge. Given the design of the program, I expect it to allow me to enrich my professional growth and create a platform that will foster interactions with peer scholars.
The QES Project and Advancement of your Career
A popular African proverb says; “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”, these words motivate me to seek for collaborations and learn from others with different backgrounds and experiences. Given the collaborative nature of this program and the array of professors and experts from diverse backgrounds at Carleton University, I believe this will serve as an elevator for me to achieve my dream of becoming a top climate change and sustainable development researcher who can amplify community development in Ghana in the medium term and globally in the long term.
