About
The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship-Advanced Scholars program was implemented by Carleton University in partnership with Mzuzu University (Mzuzu, Malawi), Nelson Mandela African Institute for Science and Technology (Arusha, Tanzania), and the University of Ghana (Accra, Ghana).
The program was made possible through the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship program and generously funded by Canada’s International Development Research Centre [IDRC], the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada [SSHRC], and Carleton University. It was managed through a unique partnership of the Rideau Hall Foundation, Community Foundations of Canada, Universities Canada, and various Canadian universities.
Through the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships program, Carleton University participated in activating a dynamic community of young global leaders around the world to create lasting impacts both at home and abroad through cross-cultural exchanges encompassing international education, discovery and inquiry, and professional experiences.
