Emily Heath

Associate Professor, Department of Physics
Professor Heath’s research program involves the development of models and novel treatment planning techniques to improve the treatment of cancer using radiation therapy. Many of these research projects involve collaborations with researchers and clinicians in cancer centres across Canada.
Her specific research areas include:
- Monte Carlo simulations of radiation therapy delivery
- Modeling impact of anatomical changes during radiation therapy
- Robust treatment plan optimization
Professor Heath is also a member of the Carleton Laboratory for Radiotherapy Physics.
