Evangelos Kranakis

Chancellor’s Professor, School of Computer Science

Professor Kranakis’ research aims to deepen our understanding of how interacting, communicating entities behave, drawing from the foundations of algorithmic distributed and mobile agent computing. Additionally, his work focuses on developing research methodologies using rigorous mathematical models that adhere to strict, well-defined assumptions while being grounded in practical applications. His research spans established fields such as wireless ad hoc and sensor networks, agent search and mobility, biological distributed computing, and social networks.
