Professor Wainer is the head of Carleton’s Advanced Real-Time Simulation Lab. His research involves modelling and simulation methodologies and tools, with a focus on discrete event systems, real-time modelling, cellular models, real-time operating systems, and parallel/distributed/web-based simulation.
