Professor Heilman’s research program is focused on the ATLAS Experiment at CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). He and his research group are heavily involved in the search for a possible dark matter signature called ‘Emerging Jets’, as well as the deployment and operation of the New Small Wheel Upgrade to the ATLAS Muon Spectrometer.
