- Polynomials/functions over finite fields, such as irreducible polynomials, permutation polynomials, primitive polynomials, planar functions, Boolean functions, etc.
- Sequences over finite fields, such as LFSR and NLFSR sequences, de Bruijn sequences, stream ciphers, pseudoramdom generators, linear complexity, correlations, etc.
- Applications of finite fields in Coding Theory, Combinatorics, and Cryptography, such as linear and quantum codes, value sets and list decoding, nonlinearity of functions over finite fields, S-boxes, etc.
