Thomas Gregoire

Professor, Department of Physics
Professor Gregoire’s main interest lies in extensions of the Standard Model of particle physics. These extensions aim at addressing various problems present in the Standard Model, such as the origin of mass, the structure of its gauge symmetries, the structure of quarks and lepton masses and mixings, and the presence of dark matter.
His main focus has been on the origin of mass – the mechanism that break the electroweak symmetry. He has worked on various aspects of little Higgs models, supersymmetry and models with extra dimension and maintain an interest in all possible extensions of the Standard Model or of the General Theory of Relativity.
