Cathy Malcolm Edwards is a leader in accessibility and inclusion with more than three decades of experience in research and educational environments. Cathy is known for building strong, collaborative relationships that make space for open dialogue and shared problem‑solving. She helps teams understand and communicate the value of their work by using strategic planning, intentional design, and clear communication. Her work supports high‑impact accessibility initiatives across the institution.
In her current role, Cathy leads action‑oriented projects, contributes to accessibility‑focused research, and helps bring knowledge into practice. Her practical, research‑informed approach connects design, accessibility, and policy to help create environments where everyone can participate and thrive.
Cathy holds a Master’s degree in design. Her research explored how the built environment influences student mental health, and she continues to bring this perspective to her work.
