SAM3 is a collaboration between the Bruyère Research Institute and Carleton University in partnership with the AGE-WELL Network Centres of Excellence. SAM3 stands for Sensors and Analytics for Monitoring Mobility and Memory. Our focus is research and innovation projects on the application of technology based solutions to enable an aging population to maintain a healthy and independent lifestyle. These solutions are co-created with industry, clinical, academic, and older adults and their families.
Through SAM3, regional capacity for industry/clinical/academic/user collaborations will be built. It will assist in understanding the benefits of solutions through trials with real users in clinical and home settings.
