Project goal: The main objective of this research study is to determine the ability for smart technology systems to provide support to both night staff and residents in a retirement community. We will be testing the ability for technology to alert staff when their assistance is required, in aid of keeping residents safe and helped in a timely manor.

2021 –
Project goal: The goal of this research study is to find challenge areas retirement community staff experience, and use technology to provide assistance. Secondarily, the technology will be used to alert when residents are moving in the night hours and may potentially risk falls. This will help keep staff working efficiently, while also keeping residents safe.
