$36,000 Funded Studentship – Governance of Connected Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs) (now closed)
Carleton University is now accepting applications for a $36,000 funded studentship under the TrustCAV Ethics Canvas Project. This two-year opportunity is open to graduate students in the Master of Public Policy (MPP) in Sustainable Energy & the Environment program.
The studentship focuses on key themes in public trust, sustainability, and inclusion in the development and governance of connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs).
What’s Included in the Studentship
- $18,000 per year in research support over 2 years
- Top-up funding during a 4-month industry internship (e.g., Cisco)
- Access to workshops, mini-courses, and symposia\
- Mentorship and interdisciplinary collaboration with experts across fields
Research Areas
Students supported through this studentship will explore cutting-edge topics such as:

Eligibility Criteria
