Becoming Eligible
Students who will become eligible in Winter 2020 may renew or pick up your U-Pass card before January 1 as a courtesy.
- Card renewal starts December 15 in the 4th floor UC Galleria
- Card pickup starts December 16 at the Campus Card Office (407 UC) during our hours of operation
Becoming Ineligible
Students who will become ineligible in Winter 2020 AND hold a valid U-Pass must return their card to the Campus Card Office (407 UC) during our hours of operation. This can be due to graduation, opting out, exchange programs starting or ending, or simply becoming part time.
- Incoming exchange students whose term at Carleton is ending in Fall 2019: please check your Carleton email in early December for the most accurate information on applicable deadlines.
- The deadline to return your valid U-Pass for a full winter term refund is January 14.
If you cannot return the card in person, you may mail it at your own risk and expense, or have someone else return it on your behalf. Fee adjustments will not be processed until the pass is received at the Campus Card Office. Students may never use their U-Pass at a time when they are ineligible for the program.
