The Pauline Jewett Institute of Women’s and Gender Studies (soon to become the Feminist Institute of Social Transformation) includes 10 faculty members, including those with joint appointments in Human Rights and Social Justice, Childhood and Youth Studies, and Sociology.

We also have an outstanding team of cross-appointed faculty and contract instructors who add their expertise to our programs in Women’s and Gender Studies, Critical Race Studies, Disability Studies, and Sexuality Studies.

Our ranks also include the Joint Chair in Women’s Studies, adjunct research professors, postdoctoral and visiting scholars, and retired professors.

Our teaching staff are supported by an excellent team of graduate student teaching assistants. Many of our graduate students are profiled here.

All members of the Institute are supported by a welcoming administrative staff.

For faculty across the campus with interests in Sexuality Studies and Disability Studies, please see the web pages for those areas.
