You’re Invited: Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre Tours
The CDCC is a welcoming and beautiful building, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a symbol: one that represents inclusive access to the arts, fulfilling co-creation, and limitless opportunity for creatives and community. We invite you to learn more about the initiatives, activities and opportunities that will get us there – and the people who are leading the change – at an onsite tour of the CDCC.

Join us for an in-person tour of Carleton University’s Arts, Performance and Learning Centre, located downtown Ottawa. The tour will showcase specialized areas at the CDCC, giving you the opportunity to see the building’s historical and heritage characteristics, majestic and beloved 5,179-pipe Casavant Pipe Organ, student and community spaces, as well as the garden.
Location & Parking:
- 290 Lisgar Street, Ottawa (the only entrance to the building at this time)

- There is a paid parking lot on the on the Lisgar Street side of the building. Parking is limited in this lot and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Overflow parking (paid, street or otherwise) available nearby along Cooper Street, Lisgar Street, and O’Connor Street. Two accessible parking spots are located on the south/west corner of the lot.
- CDCC also has bicycle racks and is accessible by public transit.
Accessibility:
There is an accessible entrance with a ramp at 290 Lisgar Street, as well as elevator access to all four levels of the building and accessible washrooms.
