Corporate Partners
Carleton’s corporate partners are purpose-driven organizations that seek to leverage higher education to address research challenges, acquire and develop talent, advance corporate social responsibility goals and create positive impact in their industries, for their customers and across the world.
Corporate partners, like you, collaborate with Carleton Advancement through sponsorship opportunities, philanthropy and holistic integrated partnerships.
Sponsorship
Sponsorship is an effective way for your organization to increase its brand awareness among students, staff, faculty and the broader Carleton community. Through sponsorship, you can connect with emerging talent, engage subject-matter experts and support initiatives that align with your organization’s values. It also promotes employee engagement through active participation in select sponsorship opportunities.
More than just a financial transaction, corporate sponsorship helps advance critical social issues by aligning Carleton’s mission of education, research and community engagement with your corporate social responsibility goals.

Philanthropy
Corporate partners also make an impact through philanthropy—investing in student success and experience, innovative research, academic programs that prepare students to make a difference, and initiatives that create positive change in the communities we serve.
A philanthropic contribution through Carleton creates meaningful opportunities for Carleton students while also serving as a public demonstration of your organization’s commitment to addressing social issues.

Holistic Integrated Partnerships
In addition to the opportunities above, some corporate partners are interested in establishing broad, long-term collaboration opportunities that combine elements of talent acquisition and development, research, and brand awareness and engagement. This type of relationship, called a Holistic Integrated Partnership (HIP), offers the highest return on investment to organizations looking to achieve multiple objectives.
The HIP model was developed in collaboration with the Office of the Vice-President (Research and International) and brings together multiple campus units to simplify the process of working with Carleton. Carleton Advancement acts as your single point of contact, so you can focus less on navigating the university environment and more on the impact you’d like to create.
