Carleton Students
Carleton students are actively engaged on campus and in their communities and are passionate about making a difference. By getting involved through University Advancement, you can learn about philanthropy and contribute to Carleton’s philanthropic mission.
Telephone Outreach Program
The Telephone Outreach Program, commonly referred to as TOP, aims to help raise awareness about various philanthropic initiatives and funds at Carleton that make a positive difference within our community. Overseen by Advancement, TOP’s day-to-day activities are carried out by a team of students known as Community Engagement Associates (CEAs). CEAs learn about key philanthropic priorities at Carleton and have the opportunity to speak with diverse Carleton stakeholders about active, meaningful campaigns.
Interested in becoming a CEA? Send us an email at advancement@carleton.ca (subject line: “Interest in joining/learning more about TOP”) or reach out via our contact form to connect with a member of our team about current opportunities.
Submit a FutureFunder Project
Have an idea for an initiative that could make a bigger impact with community support? As a Carleton student, you can easily launch fundraising campaigns for projects that advance teaching and learning at Carleton on FutureFunder.ca—Carleton’s crowdfunding platform—to build momentum. After the completion of your active fundraising efforts, many campaigns can be converted to long-term giving pages for ongoing support.
