Messages of Thanks

Carleton’s Department of University Advancement is asking students to participate in sending Messages of Thanks.

Did you receive a donor-funded award this year? If so, you can thank your donor by submitting a message telling them how much you appreciated it!

The deadline for message submission is the end of term.

How to Participate:

  1. Open Carleton Central
  2. Navigate to the Student Services tab
  3. Click Thank You Messages
  4. Click on ”Enter message” on the donor funded award

Why?

It’s important that students participate in relationships with Carleton donors. Writing a message explaining how an award has helped you in your studies is a great way to show donors the importance – and the impact – of their contributions. This will mean a stronger community of donors and students, and more awards in future!

Important Notes:

  • Messages cannot be edited once submitted
    • For absolutely critical changes, students can contact ShalenBradford@Cunet.Carleton.Ca
  • It’s best to address messages to “dear donor” rather than a specific person
  • No personal contact information can be included
