Our Brown bag seminar series was inaugurated in 2009. It provided faculty members and graduate students across various departments an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas about potential research areas during lunchtime. It quickly morphed into sessions where upcoming research and past knowledge areas were discussed, occasionally with guest speakers from all over the world.

The Brown bag seminar is a semi-formal event where the speaker presents and the audience has an opportunity to engage and ask questions. It is always enlightening and all and sundry are welcome.

Past speakers have included academics, retired professors, ambassadors, graduate students, United Nations special envoys and a host of others.

The Institute’s Brown bag seminar holds on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from September – March of the academic year.
