Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management

BPAPM differs from other degree programs because it is focused on policy, and it is a limited-enrolment degree, which means that students start in a cohort of only around 100. This provides students with a small and supportive learning environment. Students in the the BPAPM program all take a set of core courses. Students then choose from four specializations, each with two to three policy streams which allows them to focus on specific areas of public policy. Bachelor of Global and International Studies

The Bachelor of Global and International Studies (BGInS) degree is offered jointly by the Faculty of Public Affairs and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences for students interested in learning and engaging with the world in which we live. The BGInS program is both multidisciplinary, in that it introduces students to the many different disciplinary perspectives on global and international studies, and interdisciplinary, in that it places these disciplinary perspectives in critical dialogue with each other. Completion of a BGInS degree will allow students to pursue a wide range of career options related to global and international studies, including graduate school in a number of disciplines.

Master of Political Management

Canada’s first graduate program in political management: an intensive master’s degree designed to provide a professional foundation for students who play or will play leadership roles in political offices, parties, non-governmental organizations, or firms that specialize in government relations, communications, or public opinion research. The program equips them to contribute to more constructive politics and well-informed policy decisions.

Master of Migration and Diaspora Studies

The Master of Arts (MA) in Migration and Diaspora Studies is an innovative interdisciplinary graduate program that allows you to study the social, cultural, political, and economic implications of the movement and transnational settlement of people. The program brings together a broad spectrum of academics and practitioners from the humanities, social sciences, and public affairs.
