Dr. Susperreguy received her Ph.D. in Education and Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2013. She is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) and Director of the Millennium Nucleus for the Study of the Development of Early Math Skills (MEMAT) in Chile. Her research examines the contextual factors and the individual cognitive, emotional, and motivational mechanisms involved in early math learning. She is especially interested in how parents support the development of early math skills in children from diverse backgrounds, specifically focusing on Latin American children.
