Ontario First Generation Bursary Application

The Government of Ontario has allocated funding to create a bursary fund for First Generation Students through the Ministry’s Access and Opportunities Strategy. This is a unique opportunity to recognize and provide direct support to students with financial need who are the first in their families to attend college or university.

Please note, there are a limited number of these bursaries available.

Eligible students are attending first entry programs of study and must meet OSAP’s Ontario residency requirements. The application will be available as of Sept. 4. If you believe that you may meet the eligibility requirements to be considered for this bursary, but have not been presented with the First Generation Bursary application via Carleton Central, please contact the Awards Office. Complete and submit your application by Oct. 31 (late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered).
